Chinese Customs shall be refunded by the Chinese Customs

to the Hongkong Government. The Minister's draft goes much

further and stipulates that the total cost of such officers

shall be so paid, including cost of leave, passages, pensions,

and compensation for injury.

ARTICLES XXI, XXII, XXIII and XXIV remain unchanged.
